Technological progress has fueled productivity and Technological progress has fueled productivity and human services into historic highs and through modern conveniences our lives are being progressively better as times goes by. However, free market is not without faults or misfunctions. One of its most crucial internal dangers is the gradual formation of monopolies.

When a sector or industry becomes dominated by a firm or entity, then there is a monopoly. If you think about popular search engines, video or movie streaming websites, then Google, YouTube or Netflix will pop out first. That is what we call a monopoly. Monopolies can control the volume of production and supply, the pricing of products or services, even above the seller’s marginal cost that leads to a high monopoly profit & eventually affect every single aspect of the relative industry.

Unless they are developed naturally because of worldwide support and enthusiasm from consumers, buying their products and progressively increasing their market share to the level of becoming a de-facto monopoly, firms can’t just turn into a monopoly in a genuine free market.

The Covid-19 pandemic is transforming how we live The Covid-19 pandemic is transforming how we live and work in ways we could hardly imagine at the beginning of the year. The luxury industry was one of the first to be influenced by this global crisis.

In the face of the global health pandemic, many large luxury companies offer help, by providing public health needs such as contributions to hospitals and non-profit organizations, and producing face masks and hand sanitizers. For instance, Gucci launched the #GucciCommunity to alleviate the crisis by “helping health services with equipment and powering the scientists who are working on vaccines and treatments”, and making two separate donations of 1 million euros each to crowdfunding campaigns.

While Millennials and Generation Z are the largest consumer segments for luxury, the digitalization of luxury is now more relevant than ever. Ultimately, this strategic digital move would pave the way for more innovation, hyper-personalized services, and engaging shopping experiences for consumers online.

During the past months, and especially after the o During the past months, and especially after the outbreak of the covid-19, the trend of online shopping has increased a lot. This sounds great since it is a valid sign that the economy is still working and the money flows. However, there is also another side to it.

Small and medium enterprises most often have a hard time pursuing the online market. Mostly small firms do not have the time, expertise or resources and means to establish a strong digital presence from which they can benefit. It can be hard for a local store to create a proper website for online shopping and organize an e-commerce strategy.

That is why the following is imperative: Small, local businesses need to invest in the digital transformation of the market. They do not lack potential; they simply lack opportunity. Many shops continue being regularly advertised through traditional methods like flyers, posters, etc. They need to re-allocate those resources, learn how to manage SEOs, and establish their online presence. The tools, methods and specialized experts on the field are already there.

For the most people, Christmas is intertwined in our minds with images, emotions but also with family moments that are carefree and tender. The magic of Christmas creates a sense of euphoria and optimism while people remember their childhood years with nostalgia.

In contrast to the social, festive and happy profile of Christmas, which is usually projected by the media, Christmas is classified as one of the most stressful and mentally charged holidays of the year while the emotional charge that people feel those days is called “Christmas Depression".

Although athletes and coaches are constantly talki Although athletes and coaches are constantly talking about self-confidence, it is not easy to define it. Self-confidence can refer to something that the athlete feels today, so be state self-confidence, or it can be part of his personality, so he has trait self-confidence.

Usually the athletes who stand out have trait self-confidence, something that makes them leader in team sports. When a athlete expects something to go wrong, during the race or training session, he creates the self-fulfilling prophecy which means that he is waiting for something to happen that will make him not have the proper performance.

Then there is the over confidence which deceives athletes and they begin to have more self-confidence than the skills they have and they start to think that they don’t need to train or eat properly as they are the best.
